Baton Techniques Training
The effectiveness you have overcoming a subject using a straight baton (or explaining why it was necessary to use that use of force tool) is based in large measure on the practical knowledge and skills you are taught by an experienced instructor. Utilizing a comprehensive learning and dynamic hands-on curriculum, first-responders will learn how to utilize a straight baton, in direct and/or transitional techniques for overcoming resistance through strikes, jabs or blocks, and establish practical anatomical control over a subject for the purposes of escort and/or handcuffing.
